Welcome to My Site

Hello,
My name is Tracy L. Rainey and I am a Forensic Psychology Professional and Licensed Professional Counselor.  I have 28 years of experience working with victims of crime and with victimology agencies and systems.  Additionally, I have nearly 10 years experience providing mental health counseling.  I most often work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma and acute stress.  Therapy isn't a fix-it process.  I have found that therapy is a collaborative effort to find factors that have created difficulty and work on resolving or living with those factors in a healthier way.
Another service that you will see while visiting my page is my work with 1st responders.  I am a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) and have engaged in specialized training to be of the most service I can for responders. I have a special passion in serving first responders, forensic professionals, and crisis response service workers.  Having a professional who recognizes the unique stressors of being on the job is important.  While I do not know your role within the community, I start from a place of wanting to know your experiences and how they have impacted you.
I currently offer many services, including general mental health counseling, counseling specialized to law enforcement and emergency/crisis responders, counseling for forensic professionals, forensic consulting, and assistance with victimology program development, and training advocates and professionals who interact with victims of crime.  Most services are offered both in-person and through secure telehealth.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  I look forward to hearing from you.   I look forward to hearing from you...
